Having formed a blues-rock trio under his own name in June 2011. The sky is only the limit.

The Bixby Knolls

The Bixby Knolls' sound shows each of the members' deep influence of classic records. In sharp contrast to the plaid and American-Apparel wearing sea of 'brohemia,' the Bixby Knolls share a vision and identity comparable to a band of musical brothers. Roxy Music, 'baggy' Kasabian, The Libertines, the Stone Roses, The Mondays, Arthur Lee and Love, Primal Scream, The Clash, The Modern Lovers, The Cramps, The Stones, Joy Division and Supergrass are heard throughout their record's sonic landscape while Barlage's voice emotes the affected themes of heartbreak and struggle heard in classic R&B and soul from the sixties such as The Zombies, Four Tops, and Nolan Porter. "Our record reminds us of Bobby Gillespie and Joe Strummer in a fist fight," Curt Barlage (lead singer) puts bluntly.

Kenley Shea

Kenley Shea Monson journey started out to Hollywood, California to star in the national hit TV show "The Singing Bee", on CMT, where she was a lead singer in the house band named "The Beehive". As a result from the success of the show, Kenley Shea went to write and cut her country/rock debut album "Seek the Joy" in Nashville, Tennessee with producers Dale Oliver and Wayne Baird.

Since then, she has landed gigs with Kelly Clarkson, Nickelback, Kings of Leon, Rise Against, Will.I.Am, Hugh Jackman, and Spike TV. Currently, Kenley Shea enjoys song writing with other local songwriters in both LA and Nashville, playing live shows around town with her band, and continuing her joyful career in the music industry.

With the release of her debut album, Kenley Shea has just finished up a summer of concerts, whether in front of a crowd of 6,000 in Oklahoma, a few hundred fans in venues throughout California, or in front of a camera performing on "Good Day Tulsa", she loves every detail of what life brings to her.
